After 10 years of living on our land, our mentor farmer, found a small grove of Shagbark Hickory Trees.  With the way he was celebrating, we though he found gold!  Hickory Nuts taste supurb and are highly valued among those who know them.  They have become a delicacy to the few who know about them.  Since the trees, don't produce consistantly they have not been grown commercially.

Certified Organic Hickory Nuts

Our Hickory Nut grove is Certified Organic.  It sits on an area of our land that we seldom visit except to harvest these delectible nuts.  This nice little hidden grove has sat untouched for decades.  In the next month we will start to harvest these beauties, and they will be ready for sale before Thanksgiving.  These are sold in the shell or cracked.  They are a wonderful snack, great for pie, and we even use them in our pesto.  If you're interested, please contact us.
